Huge Progress

WOW! It has been a looooong time since I have posted anything. I started this blog to help myself and possibly others dealing with a child that may or may not have autism. When I posted the first time, we were still in the beginning process of getting J.J. tested. What a roller coaster ride we were on! So much has happened since then and so much has changed.
J.J. was tested and was diagnosed being on the Autism Spectrum, a speech delay and learning disabilities. We went through therapies of all kinds before finally deciding to take matters into our own hands. (Something I do quit often.) I am happy and thankful to report that J.J. is a completely different kid now than he was in those days. I owe much of it to PRAYER! J.J. is quit the talker, taking an interest in books now, very social, and learning something new everyday.
Getting a diagnoses was scary, but I used it as more of a tool box of resources to help J.J. When tested last, he scored only 1 point below average....very impressive progress in a year's time.
Hopefully I can start to blog more. I have plenty of new and exciting things happening. Stay Tuned!
